This December 1, join Infinite PawsAbilities for Amador Giving Tuesday as we work to bring back Pregnant Paws & Pups and help save 100 more dogs and puppies in 2027.
Through the Amador Community Foundation, your Giving Tuesday contribution supports our Fund the Next 100 campaign.
You don't have to save 100 dogs. Together, we can save them one at a time.
Every contribution matters, and every gift brings us closer to saying YES to the next dog who needs us.
Every day, vulnerable dogs and puppies in California's overcrowded shelters face uncertain futures. Pregnant mothers and their puppies are especially at risk, and too often, the opportunity to save them depends on whether a rescue has the resources to say yes.
At Infinite PawsAbilities, we've seen what happens when we can say yes. Through our Pregnant Paws & Pups program, we've helped mothers and their puppies find safety, receive the care they need, and begin their journeys toward loving homes.
But saving lives also means being prepared to care for them. We made the difficult decision to pause new intakes until we could ensure that every mother, puppy, and dog entering our care would receive the attention, medical support, and staffing they deserve.
Now, we're asking for your help to bring that program back and open our doors to 100 more dogs and puppies in 2027.
It takes approximately $750 in funding to give one dog that opportunity. That funding helps provide essential veterinary care, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, appropriate staffing, and daily care. Whether you contribute a little toward the next rescue, fund an individual dog, or help an entire litter, every contribution matters.

She was found running down a freeway, heavily pregnant and desperately needing somewhere safe to land.
A fellow rescuer took her in and named her Freeway. She immediately called us because she didn't have room for a large dog with clearly a large litter. We struggled with the decision because we understood the monumental task of vet care, but at the end of the day, we knew we could help this little family.
We immediately arranged to welcome her into our care. Before she arrived, on May 4, 2024 — Star Wars Day — she gave birth to twelve beautiful puppies. Naturally, they became the Star Wars litter, and Freeway became Princess Leia. Leia had a safe, comfortable place to raise her puppies, and her little family became the beginning of something much bigger: Pregnant Paws & Pups.
Caring for thirteen lives was an enormous responsibility. From veterinary care and vaccinations to the daily needs of a mother and twelve growing puppies, we quickly learned just how much it takes to give an entire family the start they deserve. But we also saw knew that we couldn't say no.
Leia's puppies did more than inspire a new rescue program. They became the first puppies to participate in our prison training program, creating new learning opportunities for incarcerated trainers. Working with puppies introduced a different set of challenges and rewards, giving participants the opportunity to develop their skills while helping young dogs build the foundations for successful lives.
All twelve puppies found loving homes.
Leia's journey wasn't finished. She entered our prison training program, became our very first Spotlight Dog, and eventually found her own forever family.
Thirteen lives saved. All because someone said yes.
And that's what Fund the Next 100 is about. Making sure we can keep saying yes.

Princess Leia's story began with someone willing to say YES. With your help, we can say YES to 100 more dogs and puppies in 2027.
Every gift matters. Every life matters.
